Sundance Film Festival Gala
Design
The team at Sundance asked us to create a design for the opening gala of the Sundance Film Festival. Working from the 2025 visual identity, we created a design for the gala that honored the festival’s visual identity, while also expanding upon it. In these designs, we utilized the type style established in the festival’s identity and expanded upon their use of shape, with added texture and dimension for an extra sophisticated look and feel. A second take on the visual direction for the gala is shown below. While these directions weren’t ultimately chosen as the final designs, they did make it to the final round of selections.
